Avenew’s goal is to connect the power of the sports industry with the impact of grassroots organizations and elevate climate justice solutions for frontline communities. They are building a strong ecosystem of climate justice consultants, pro athlete partners and a grant fund to co-create, co-champion and co-fund grassroot initiatives supporting neighborhoods hit hardest by climate change and natural disaster. The visual direction combined the feelings of active and athletic through color and a feeling of human connectivity through photography and illustration. The finishing touch of marker elements connected to the act of drawing team plays on a whiteboard further emphasizing action.
